The Project

EMC Pacific manufactures world leading components for electrical networks around the globe. We have worked with them to redefine their brand image and align it with the high quality, cutting edge technology of their products. We developed a tagline, branding guidelines, a new website, and a 102 page technical product catalogue. We also developed an advertising and advertorial program which included placing brand advertising and creating technical content for industry journals and publications. We delivered exhibition stands at local and international trade shows that reflected their new brand positioning – Stronger, Lighter and Smarter. This included a focus on educating exhibition attendees about the inherent advantages of EMC Pacific’s products over their competitors and demonstrating that their products have longevity, performance, safety and environmental advantages. We did this by developing simple key messages and used engaging imagery to bring the brand proposition to life. We devised a modular stand design, the components able to be reused for other exhibitions and as a display in their head office foyer. A thoughtfully selected prospect giveaway ensured EMC Pacific stood out from the crowd. All of this resulted in an excellent, high quality outcome which reflected and supported the quality of the products produced by this innovative Australian company.

The Interesting Bit

As brand, communication and event specialists we were well positioned to take on this project. We never professed to be product experts, though it’s amazing how much we now know about the hydrophobic properties of epoxy resin insulators and bushings – turns out this is a good party trick!
